La silla es original Luis XV Francesa, laqueada en color blanco y tapizada con vinil color negro.
El concepto que se está manejado en la silla es que al final de la vida el ser humano no es completamente bueno ni completamente malo.
Siempre tendremos esa dualidad.

El padre de Cristóbal Colón, Doménico Colombo, según la historia fue tejedor, cardador de lana. En Génova como en el resto de Europa, era de uso común el telar de pedal.
En México, los indígenas acostumbraban el telar de cintura y hacían maravillas con el algodón. Fue más tarde cuando se familiarizaron con los borregos, traídos de España, que urdieron la lana y la hicieron suya.
Mi intención es enfatizar nuestra simbiosis inevitable en 500 años de tiempo, cultura, tradiciones y por supuesto, tendencias.
En este sillón, el tapiz es la esencia de un nopal al que se le han quitado las espinas y se muestra con toda su belleza, cómo es por dentro.
La estructura francesa del sillón hace notar la mezcla de la talla de sus bordes que remiten a Quetzalcóatl, la serpiente emplumada y caras de idolillos.
La capa de Hoja de Plata representa el conocidísimo intercambio de espejos por piedras preciosas y joyas. Todo esto lo hace un Asiento para el alma……viaja a dónde quiera que el espíritu te lleve y regresa a casa.
El hogar y este sillón, son el espejo de nuestra herencia y conciencia.

The father of christopher columbus, domenico columbo, was a wool weaver. in genova, as in the rest of europe, the pedal loom was commonly used.
the indigenous population of Mexico used the waist loom and made wonderful creations out of cotton. It was only after they discovered the existence of sheep, brought over from Spain, that they began to warp wool and make it their own.
My work aims to emphasize our inevitable symbiosis over 500 years of history, culture, traditions and of course, trends.
This armchair’s upholstery captures the essence of a nopal cactus leaf with its spines removed and shown in all its interior glory.
The French shape of the armchair draws the eye to the mixture of sculpted edges that are reminiscent of Quetzalcoatl, the plumed serpent, and the faces of small idols.
The silver plated coating represents the well-known story of the conquistadors’ exchange of mirrors for the indigenous peoples’ precious stones and jewels. Together, This creates a seat for the soul ….. go wherever the spirit takes you and then come back home.
The home and this armchair are mirrors of our heritage and conscience.
