Silver Lake Chair

Erika's work of recycled furniture and Interior Design is taken to Los Angeles California. Specifically in the neighborhood of Silver Lake, which is known for being inhabited by a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic groups, but is best known as an eclectic neighborhood where they meet the "hipsters" creative class it is also an important LGBT community.
Silver Lake contains some of the most famous modernist architecture in North America by Richard Neutra, John Lautner and Rudolph Schindler.
Walt Disney built his first major studio and Tom Mix, who played many early Western movies also had theirs.
Since the 1990's, Silver Lake has become the center of Indie Rock from Los Angeles. The district has two major street festivals each year, the Silver Lake Jubilee  in May and the Sunset Junction Street Fair in the month of August, where many musicians started their careers like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom Waits.
The relationship between  Erika's work and the neighborhood is basically the creative understanding and to accomplish those needs.
Without disturbing the resource or creating a material, Erika Winters Design transports your senses  to places faraway with a strong spirit and nostalgic design, with an exotic intrigue of materials and colors.
Art has always been a source of inspiration with the option of interpreting a piece of furniture to great work is enormous and embodied with freedom. This also allows her to achieve the interior design work she performs for her clients.

Silla Westminster

Erika lleva su trabajo de recuperación de mobiliario y Decoración de Interiores a Los Angeles California. Específicamente en la colonia de Silver Lake, la cual se caracteriza por ser habitada por una gran variedad de grupos étnicos y socioeconómicos, aunque es mejor conocida como una colonia ecléctica en donde se reúnen los " hipsters ", clase creativa. Y también una importante comunidad de LGBT.
Silver Lake contiene algo de la arquitectura modernista más famosa Norte América de Richard Neutra, John Lautner y Rudolf Schindler.
Walt Disney construyó su primer gran estudio y Tom Mix, quien interpretara muchas de las primeras películas del Oeste también tuvo el suyo.
Desde la década de 1990, Silver Lake se ha convertido en el centro del Rock Indie  de Los Ángeles. El barrio cuenta con dos festivales en la calle principal  cada año, el Silver Lake Jubileo, celebrada en Mayo y el Sunset Junction Street Fair, en el mes de Agosto, de este han nacido músicos como los Red Hot Chili Peppers y Tom Waits.
La relación que existe entre el trabajo de Erika y esta colonia es básicamente el entendimiento creativo y la necesidad de cubrirla.
Sin perturbar un recurso o crear un material, Erika Winters Design transporta tus sentidos llevandote a lugares lejanos con diseños de  fuerte espíritu nostálgico, a veces con una exótica intriga de colores.
El arte siempre ha sido fuente de inspiración, pero hoy en día la opción de interpretar un mueble  como una gran obra es enorme. Y la libertad queda plasmada en el. Esto permite que Erika logre los alcances proyectados en los espacios que diseña y decora.
